High heels over the decades have gained popularity among all classes of ladies. In most cases, they symbolize women who are sophisticated. Most women love them and feel classy but many of them lack awareness of the dangers and health risks that come with them. Here are some health risks of wearing high heels:
1. Back pain
Wearing high heels does not give a balanced support to your feet. High heels result in posture displacement together spine of thoracic and more worse flattening of the lumbar spine. Your entire body leans forward causing poor and unequal weight distribution resulting to muscle and back pains.

Different high heels come with different shapes and forms, those pointed tend to compress together toes that cause toenail grown inside the skin that results in lots of fungal infections and also bacterial infections.
4. Increases risk of OA
Research has shown that putting on heels 3-4 inches or higher presents you to high risk of developing osteoarthritis (OA). This diseases in many instances is a lifetime risk and at times causes disability in women.
