Popular Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has released a parody video of Diamond Planumz’s newly-released song ‘Kanyaga’.

The parody video is already performing well with over 6,000 views and more than 100 comments within hours of publication on YouTube.

The message in the comedian's parody video is a motivation to the national team Harambee Stars to emerge victorious in their next match against Tanzania. 

This is after the national team lost 2:0 to Algeria. Omondi has always expressed his patriotism towards Harambee stars. The comedian took to Instagram where jokingly predicted Harambee Star’s victory against Tanzania.

“Tomorrow we will be playing against upcoming youngsters. I have communicated with Harambee Stars and they have assured me a 4:0 victory because they look up to us (Kesho tunacheza na vijana Wadogo Chipukizi nimewasiliana na Harambee Stars tuwaKANYAGE 4:0 tu maanake they look up to us) ,” he wrote on Instagram.

Diamond’s video was uploaded on Tuesday and it has already gained more than 1 million views on YouTube by Wednesday. The song talks about not entertaining certain groups of people including; slay queens, exes, snitches, people who ask for free beer in clubs and bad relatives.
