A family from Nyanturago village in Kisii County is yet to come to terms after their loved one, an engineering student at Kisii National polytechnic was found murdered and his body dumped on the road at Nyakongo area.
According to Nyabaro Getenga uncle to the deceased Vincent Aenche Getenga. Aenche was a star in the family.
"It is shocking that Aenche is dead yet we had put all our hopes in him. He had a promising future which has been cut short. All we want is police to speed up probe so that we can be able to know the cause of his death," said Nyabaro.
Nyabaro revealed that the deceased was a peace loving person who could hardly quarrel with anyone.
"Aenche was a social person who was always accommodated everyone," he added.
He said Aenche was expected to complete his studies this year.
Kisii police commander Martin Kibet said police will do everything possible to bring the killers to book.
"His body was moved to Kisii teaching and referral hospital morgue as investigations are ongoing to nab the killers," he said.
