Former Jubilee Party interim vice chairperson David Murathe is on the receiving end after he dismissed vocal MP Moses Kuria's plan to succeed President Kenyatta.
In an interview with a local TV station on Tuesday, Murathe explained why he believed and was certain Moses Kuria would not ascend to power in 2022.
He described the MP as a joker who should be ignored at all costs. Moses Kuria with no hesitation fired back ruthlessly and this time around he coined the mockery of the former MP from a deal with media business tycoon SK Macharia.
"To my brother David Murathe. It is my democratic right to vie for Presidency... and to appoint a running mate of my choice. I will be on the Presidential ballot. No one can buy me out of that idea. Not for Ksh10 million, not even SK Macharia," reacted Moses Kuria in a post on his social media pages.
Last week, Moses Kuria declared that he will run for the presidency in 2022.
He disclosed during an interview with the media that he will choose his running mate from between ODM leader Raila Odinga and the Deputy President William Ruto.
Kuria also considers Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana as a viable option for his running mate's post.
Here is the response from Koses Kuria as captured on Wednesday morning from his Facebook page:
