Grapefruit contains tryptophan, (a chemical associated with falling asleep) which makes one fall asleep easily. Eating the fruit before going to bed will be a plus for you.

5. Eliminates constipation

The fruit improves the flow of gastric juices which ease the constriction of the digestive tract thus inducing a bowel movement, which keeps one's excretory system regulated.
