Controversial blogger Cyprian Nyakundi is set to face a court suit for defaming Kenyan top lawyer Prof. Tom Ojienda.
Confirming the lawyer's intention to sue him through his Telegram page, Nyakundi challenged the besieged advocate to openly deny the allegation if they were not true rather than threaten him with court suit.
The blogger through his blog had alleged that the lawyer who also doubles up as a don has been using his position to make sexual advancements to female students before awarding them marks.
In what he termed as Sex-for-marks Scandal, Nyakundi questioned the professional ethics of the lawyer accusing him of extortion and dishonesty...."the professor has been sleeping with students in order to award them marks" read part of the allegation.
Nyakundi also questioned Prof. Ojienda's mentorship programs which he claimed had been used to indoctrinate misled law students to vote for him whenever there are elections.
The blogger accused Ojienda of extortion and dishonesty in his dealings and using his influence to manipulate judges."...he is a dishonest man and a vehicle for money laundering and fraud especially in the Evans Kidero saga and Mumias Sugar company." Read part of his allegation.
Prof Ojienda is currently battling a court suit that has linked him to a corruption scandal at Mumias Sugar Company. He was arrested last Friday and spent the whole weekend in police custody before being arraigned in court on Monday.
