Disclosing the new developments, Mwingi West Member of Parliament Charles Nguna, the dejected legislators who lost their bid in rejecting the presidential directive on the controversial 8% fuel tax are now seeking the immediate impeachment of Majority Leader Aden Duale.

Also in the list of impeachment is the Minority Leader and opposition MP John Mbadi who was acting on a recommendation from the NASA principal Raila Odinga.

Hon Nguna accuses the trio for colluding with the Executive in the Thursday special parliamentary sitting to deny MPs their requisite numbers required to pull down President Kenyatta’s memorandum on the controversial Finance Bill, 2018.

The controversial bill, which was passed by the parliament in a poll allegedly marred by 'rigging' has since been signed by Uhuru into law.

The president appended his signature on the bill on Friday morning.
