West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi has been warned against diverting attention to his political rivals instead of delivering as per his campaign promises.
A section of residents on Saturday, while speaking in the constituency, slammed the lawmaker for his continued plea to his rivals that he should be given humble to deliver.
"Kemosi should stop mentioning his rivals whenever he is in the constituency. We want to see him delivering and not telling us about political rivals," said Raphael Mbaye.
According to Mr Mbaye the lawmaker should know rivals are there to criticize his leadership.
"Let him not dwell so much on his political enemies who are in the political cold seeking relevance. Kemosi should focus his energies on serving constituents," he added.
Clare Osebe argued that even if the MP blames rivals everyday he won't run the constituency as his own kiosk.
"Why is he afraid of criticism? Does he want to embezzle money meant for development? Rivals must be on his toes for accountability, integrity and transparency purposes," she noted.
Denis Marube elected leaders blaming rivals is uncalled for.
"Everyone has been given time, let them deliver and not divert attention to rivals," said Marube.
