According to Passaris, Kenyan youths should shun politicians who are out to give them handouts and ensure they venture into constructive activities which will enable them earn a living.

“It is high time we should address the culture of handouts and find its long-term effects on our youth,” she said.

Passaris promised to champion for the rights of youths, women and people living with disability in Nairobi without discrimination.

“As leaders we should serve the electorates without gender discrimination. Youths, women and disabled people should be helped to start small businesses to boost livelihoods in the society,” she noted.

She condemned youths who chased her convoy when she attended a civic education forum in Dagoretti North constituency saying the youths who were on motorbikes all the way into the City endangered their lives and other road users.

The lawmaker called on youths to ignore politicians who are out to incite them to cause mayhem at political rallies.

Passaris urged boda boda riders to adhere to set road rules so they don’t find themselves in the wrong side of the law.
