The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Noordin Haji is a no nonsense individual who rarely smiles.
In the recent past, he has been making headlines over his fight against and other societal ills.
However, what many Kenyans do not know is his highest academic qualifications.
Nordin Haji holds a Law degree from the Wales College , Cardiff. Upon graduating from the institution, it is then that he joined the National Intelligence Service (NIS) as a graduate investigative trainee.
Over time, he rose through the ranks in the department to become the Deputy Director in charge of Economic Crimes at the investigations agency.
Owing to his competence and undivided devotion in his roles, President Kenyatta appointed him as the Director of Public Prosecution, an appointment that saw legislators approve his candidature owing to his clean sheet.
On March 14, 2018 Noordin took over the high profile office of DPP.
The no-nonsense DPP has since outshined the immediate former prosecutor Keriako Tobiko who was also appointed the CS for Environment.
Noordin’s first biggest assignment was to prosecute National Youth Service (NYS) cases, a role that demands stamina and courage.
