A day after Kwale Deputy Governor Fatuma Achani launched a campaign among women to fight early pregnancies in the county through a vigorous sensitisation programme, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula has condemned those defiling and impregnating under age school girls prompting them to drop out of school.
Speaking at Bwake-Luuya Ward Kabuchai Constituency, Bungoma County Wetangula asked the government and different stake holders to ensure such culprits are punished to serve as an example to other prospective criminals.
The Bungoma Senator was speaking on Saturday during the burial of the late Rebecca Nekesa Karani.
Achani launched the campaign (at the Methodist Church of Kenya) at Kinango where she said the programme will involve women in all the more than 70 village units across Kwale county.

The Kwale deputy county chief said teenage pregnancies have threatened education of the girl child saying the matter requires an immediate mitigation.
According to the Kwale DG, the campaign will involve economically empowering the parents and girls, such as providing them with life basics.
Concerning rampant corruption that has bedeviled our country, Wetangula maintained that he will "continue exposing those involved in the vise because this was one of the greatest NASA dream in spite of the handshake."
He also maintained that his quest for 2022 presidency is still on cause and that the Luhya nation will not play the second fiddle in national politics.
