Embattled anti-Jubilee regime crusader Miguna Miguna has erupted with new claims, this time rubbishing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s anticipated tour of Luo Nyanza region beginning Thursday.
In a tweet early Tuesday, the self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) Commander In Chief has said that Uhuru is unwelcome in the region, and is now calling for demonstrations upon his (Uhuru) arrival.
He also wants the people to demonstrate against opposition leader and Uhuru’s rival-cum-friend Raila Odinga who is considered the Luo Nyanza political kingpin.
Raila is expected to host Kenyatta.
"I, General Miguna Miguna, the Commander-In-Chief of the NRMKe, hereby declare that the Tyrant @UKenyatta is NOT welcome in Nyanza. I appeal to all patriots and justice-loving Kenyans to turn out in huge numbers and PROTEST against @UKenyatta and TRAITOR @RailaOdinga on Dec. 13!" he said.
Miguna is fully aware that he is waging war against two of the most powerful leaders in the nation, and that what happens on the date will determine his fate and political future.
And though it might appear like just another of his many tweets castigating the two since his deportation to Canada earlier in the year, the tweet carries the former Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful's political future.
In the very unlikely event that people demonstrate, even if for another reason, then Miguna will emerge the winner and will be considered to have some say in the Luo Nyanza political field.
On the other hand, he will be rendered a laughing stock should noone heed the call, and could end up even more weaker on matters politics.
Therefore, the latter awaits either a breaking or making on December 13.
