City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has watered down claims that Canada-based barrister Miguna Miguna is able to wage a successful revolution.
For months now, Miguna Miguna, who was deported to Canada in 2018, has been threatening to lead a revolution against Uhuru Kenyatta's government.
But Kipkorir believes that Miguna Miguna does not have what it takes to lead a successful rebellion against government.
"Am told some Kenyans are waiting with much expectation the arrival of a failed Canadian lawyer to lead them in a revolution ... Kenyans it seems love martyrdom ... You enter a bus knowing it will end up in tears!" he said.
Kipkorir has been a fierce critic of Dr Miguna Miguna, often accusing him of disrespecting President Uhuru and Raila Odinga.
Miguna Miguna is expected in the country on Tuesday and has since asked the police to obey numerous court orders.
“The Application has been necessitated by the refusal by the State to comply with numerous court orders following his removal by some Government officials from Kenya,” John Khaminwa, his lawyer, said.
Miguna says his application is urgent because he wants to come back to Kenya on January 7.
“We pray that the honourable court be pleased to certify this application as urgent and hears it on a priority basis and during the court’s Christmas recess,” Khaminwa said.
