DPP Noordin Haji and DCI George Kinoti on Tuesday held a meeting with The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Deputy Director David Bowdich in Washington DC, United States of America.

The Kenyan delegation revealed that they addressed different issues during the tour.

The meeting comes a time when President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is completing his second and final term in government, has assured Kenyans that he is ready to end  terror attacks and corruption.

Bodwich assured the duo that the agency will help Kenya secure its borders and do away with graft. The US has also assured Kenya of its support in the war against terrorism.

"The discussions also touched on Anti-terrorism matters where the United States Government promised to help establish a Joint Anti-Terrorism Task Force in Kenya," DCI revealed.

Ambassador to Kenya Kyle McCarter also met with the DCI last month and assured him of his support to ensure the big fish are arrested before being presented to court to respond to graft charged Haji said that the country has continued to lag behind in terms of development because of massive corruption.

 He reiterated his stand in the war against the loss of public resources.

“It is Kenyans stealing from their own coffers; stealing from oneself. As Kenyans we probably need to come up with a terminology which  will capture that this is  beyond theft and corruption,” he said.

Haji has also said that his office will not hesitate to arrest and charge anyone if there is sufficient evidence.
