Migori Governor Okoth Obado seems to have developed the sixth sense and was always aware that more trouble awaited him.

Hosting Deputy President William Ruto in his county last Saturday, Obado claimed that some people were keen on finishing him, in what he termed an attempt to throw him inside the crocodile's mouth.

“If you pray for me, I will get out of the crocodile’s mouth,” he was quoted by the Nation.

And though some took it lightly, resulting in laughter from the audience, Obado seems to be finally suffering from what he feared most.

The county boss was on Wednesday arrested again over alleged illegal gun possession, a serious offence in the Kenyan constitution.

Though it's not clear whether this new arrest was the kind of crocodile he was talking about, he is indeed in trouble and could again be off work for some time.

What remains is for him to disclose the people who wanted to see him suffer as he had mentioned and whether they are political rivals or the police.

And as his new case ensues, the nation is very alert to see what happens next to the administrator who was only recently held and remanded again over alleged involvement in the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.

Will the crocodile 'swallow' or spare him? Only time will tell.#hivisasaoriginal
