Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has come out to urge all Kenyans to be thankful to ODM leader Raila Odinga for lowering himself to embrace President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking on Wednesday on Citizen TV's JKLive show, Ledama said that, Kenyans are currently enjoying the peace gotten from sacrifices made by Raila and Uhuru.
"Kenyans must always thank Raila Odinga. If it were not for Raila Odinga, most of us would not be here. We must give credit where it is due," he said.
His remarks come even as the political temperatures continue rocking the country three years away from the next general elections.
Before the March 9 2018, handshake, the country was almost greatly divided with a section of NASA leaders proposing the splitting of Kenya into The Peoples Republic and the Central Republic of Kenya.
The calls came in as NASA boycotted the repeat presidential elections as ordered by the Supreme Court.
