National Women Soccer team Harambee Starlets continued their impeccable display at the ongoing CECAFA Women's Challenge with a comprehensive 12-0 victory over Djibouti.
Goals kept raining, marking the national side's biggest victory at the tournament and possibly in the history of Kenyan soccer.
Kenya had a field day.
The win is their second straight win in the CECAFA Women's challenge.
This comes just days after the Starlets beat Ethiopia 2-0.
The goals against Djibouti were scored by the usual suspects; Vivian Makokha, Jentrix Shikangwa, Mwanalima Jereko, 34, Janet Bundi and Mercy Airo.
Jentrix Shikangwa scored a hat trick on the 14th, 17th, and 56th minute.
The Starlets will face the Cranes of Uganda in their final group match on Thursday.
Djibouti was making its maiden appearance at the games and is among the weakest teams in the tournament.
They were beaten 13-0 by the Ugandans in their opening match.
Uganda vs Kenya match promises to be an explosive encounter given the strength of both teams and the outcome of the tie could possibly decide who lifts the CECAFA trophy.
Last week, the Starlets were bundled out of the 2020 Olympics qualifiers after losing to the Copper Queens of Zambia.
