No one wishes to fall out of love especially with the person he/she termed to be a life partner. This is not always made to happen but it takes place due to irreconcilable differences between the involved people.
In some cases, the differences outshine the love and the two are left with no option than parting ways. Those who end up in divorce pass through a lot till they get emotional recovery.
The stages associated with divorce are;
1. Denial
It is natural to become sad or grief when a marriage ends. Even though the recovery period as a result of divorce might take time based on how the experience was, it is quite painful and no one really desires for it.
2. Anger
This stage involves exchanging nasty remarks with your ex-partner and insulting each other despite the current situation, place or time. It is during this stage when one sees the negative deeds of the other person and no one accepts responsibility.
3. Bargaining
It is in this stage where one tries to repair or undo the damage which could have occurred in the past. It is whereby one works hard to come to terms with the decision of divorce. It is during this stage where people realize whether they made the right decision or a mistake.
4. Depression
It is in this stage that sadness comes in and becomes one's constant companion. Most people in this stage do not concentrate on their daily activities and some even experience tear outbursts.
5. Acceptance
When it hits you that life must go on, you are left with no choice than accepting the reality about the current situation and move on. This does not mean that all the anger, grief and sadness about the divorce have faded.
