Partners happen to be too tight on their spouses due to various reasons. Some of the reasons that push partners to suffocate their partners are such as; believing that all men cheat when given a chance, women should be watched closely since they can’t be trusted, or since an ex cheated he or she needs to be too serious with the current partner. 

With all these reasons, here are ways in which you may be suffocating your partner;

1. You hate the thought of being alone for a few hours

Dating does not mean that your partner should sacrifice all his/her time to spend it with you. If you happen to be causing problems since you were left alone for a few hours then know that you are suffocating your partner.

2. You follow his social media chats to see whether he flirts 

Even though one is in a relationship or married, the aspect of privacy should never be broken. Going through your partner’s chat every time will make him feel suffocated.

3. You suspect your partner every time he tells you that he is drinking with friends

If you happen to be too suspicious whenever your partner tells you that he is drinking with friends, then know that you are suffocating him. Being too suspicious in that you either hinder him from going or following him is not a good act.
