According to a recent report by the Trends and Insight for Africa (TIFA) on Wednesday, Kisumu County registered the highest mark in terms of delivery of key development services.

The Governor took to twitter to welcome the report which ranked him ahead of Governor Hassan Joho, (Mombasa) Mike Sonko (Nairobi) and Kiambu’s Ferdinand Waititu.

He attributed the same to his constituents for their support, vowing to not relent in serving his people.

‘’My pride is to do the best for my county residents. Thank you @KisumuCountyKE for your overwhelming support. There is work to be done let's do it ! #TifaResearch #CountyScoreCard #TichTire,’’ tweeted the county boss after the declaration.

The achievement was largely attributed to Nyong’o’s efforts towards cleaning the city, and which are seemingly paying off so far.

Nyongo scored a C+ of 59% in the survey, followed by Waititu with 53 percent, this being a C plain.

Joho and Sonko each scored 51 percent, this too being an equivalent of a C plain.

Recently, Nyong’o was again ranked the best performing Governor as compared to his counterparts manning counties that double up as cities.
