Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter's calls for arrest of Kenya Pipeline Managing Director Joe Sang and Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang over graft allegations has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans.
The vocal rebel Jubilee MP on Tuesday took to his official Facebook page where he lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta on his fight against corruption while also calling for the immediate arrest of Sang and Kipsang.
"We are waiting to see the likes of Joe Sang of Kenya Pipeline and Kipsang Belio of the ministry of education face the law," read part of Keter's post.
The post has however drawn mixed reactions among Kenyans, majorly from the North Rift region. Here are some of the reactions;
"Belio na mwenzake waende jela haraka sana, what is not happening? They should be rotting in jail now," said Boaz Kemei.
"Keter at least you are now fighting the right people, next time ukiambiwa utoke committee usiseme kabila yetu imeonewa," commented Amos Kirui.
"Bring the others to board also...you seem to target something/someone in particular. Where is the Ngiritas?" Isaiah Maiyo aked.
"Kesi ya weighs bridge ulifika wapi mheshimwa...I believe you were not insulting and looting on behalf of our community...," Ianvictor Mejja said.
"Reference is made to your post on 5th March 2018 7:45 pm, what has really changed since then when you condemned the current war on corruption?" Martin Kamau posed.
"Saa hii watu wanatolewa si Mau tena they are nicknaming Mau. Alafu watu kama Hon Keter, Hon Tonui, Hon Senator Langat and Hon Gideon Koskei criticises eviction of our people you started calling them all sorts of names," Gideon Sang noted.
"Very true mweshimiwa I support you let them carry their own cross," Kimz Evanz said.
