A second-year female student in the school of Education at Moi University on Wednesday left many in shock after wearing an extremely short dress.
The student who was walking along the academic way surprised many with her short blue dress that could hardly cover her thighs.
"This student should be taken and beaten up, how can she wear such a short dress and walk publicly," a middle-aged woman who is a staff at the school was heard telling her friends.
Everybody who passed the lady could not help but turn and have a second look at her.
"This is now too much, how could she even have the courage to wear such a dress. This is like walking naked," a friend to the staff replied.
The lady, however, seemed not to be concerned with the attention she was getting. She walked confidently stopping once in a while to greet her friends.
Moi University has been keen on students' dressing code especially in official places such as the library and the administration block.
Female students with extremely short and inappropriate dresses are more often not allowed to enter the administration area.
On the other hand, male students have been forbidden to enter the library with their caps on.
