Speaking during an interview with K24 on Thursday, Khalwale said that he called the Former Vice President to congratulate him on speaking from the bottom of his heart. He, however, reminded him that he forgot to talk about how politics were affecting the economy of this nation during his address. Mudavadi called upon President Kenyatta to intervene into the ailing economy.

“As soon as Mudavadi finished his speech, I sent him a text and told him that he had spoken very well. He was more than 100% right but unfortunately, he missed a very important point that the economy is driven by politics. #K24ThisMorning #BBIReport,” he said.

The politician, who has declared support for Deputy President William Ruto, also condemned Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed for the way he ran the program at the Bomas of Kenya.

He said that the program was skewed. The twist of events showed that all was not well when Senator Kipchumba Murkomen came forth to lament over the manner in which Ruto’s allies were being treated.

"Where did you ever find a situation whereby the Deputy President of Kenya invites 'raia kama Khalwale' to speak after him? Former PM ni raia," he added.
