In a tweet on Sunday, Mutua said that it is irresponsible for any mature person to sell a beer or alcohol to persons that are under age.

Mutua termed the act of selling alcohol to children as against the law.

When it comes to means of how one can know whether the buyer is of the right age or not, the moral cop said that all alcohol suppliers should ask for either a Kenyan Identity Card (ID) or a passport

“Anyone who supplies alcohol to children is in breach of the law. It is immature if the kids ordered the beer to be taken to their house or went to the bar. The responsivity is on the adult. The issue about parental responsibility is out of context!” Ezekiel Mutua tweeted.

This comes following the fact that people are in the festive season and there are high chances for most children who are not of age to take advantage of getting themselves alcohol.

In different parts of the country, there has been the implementation of various rules to manage people from misbehaving during this festive season as a result of alcoholism.

In Nakuru County, night parties have been banned.
