Controversial Nandi Hills lawmaker has disclosed his future presidential ambition.
In a recent video while addressing a crowd in Luo Nyanza, the youthful parliamentarian, however, admitted that he stands a very low chance of realising the dream, judging by the Jubilee government’s performance.
He hit out at a top Jubilee leader, apparently Deputy President William Ruto, for allegedly engaging in mass public resources theft, terming the same as a blow to him and future Kalenjin hopefuls.
He added that the DP, who has since announced his bid for the top seat in the approaching 2022 general election should not be granted the wish, as his alleged stealing trend will portray the Kalenjins in a bad light.
‘’He is even stealing from us his own people and should not be allowed near power as that will further derail the ambitions of people like me from his community who have future presidential ambitions,’’ said Keter.
''He will make us look like thieves while he is stealing for himself and not the entire community. A thief is a thief,'' he added.
The leader has not been in good terms with Ruto recently, repeatedly bashing the Deputy President's political moves and recently blamed him for his August 8 reelection nullification.
However, his victory has since been confirmed, after a successful appeal at the appellate court on June 11, but remains one of the DP’s leading critics from within the ruling Jubilee Party.
