Police are currently holding a form four student who went missing a day before she was supposed to sit for her examination only to be found in a man’s house who is suspected to be her boyfriend.
According to the parents of the Gesero Secondary candidate, she went missing on Saturday and she never came back home nor did she take her Monday examinations.
"We reported the matter to Gesonso police station and investigations began immediately and it's her friends who gave the police the tip where she would be," said Biliah Nyanchama a mother to the girl.
According to the police who led the operation, the candidate was found at a private hostel room in Mwembe area in Kisii and the man whom she was found with is suspected to be a Kisii University student.
"The man has been arrested and we found out that he is a university student and we would like to know their motives especially why the girl would skip the most important examination of her life," said Eliud Otieno a Gesonso police boss
The duo are currently held at Gesonso police station as police look forward to conclude their investigations and arraign the duo in court.
