Likoni Member of Parliament Mishi Mboko is one of the most promising female politicians from the Kenyan coast. She motivates several girls and women to continue pursuing their dreams.

The manner in which she has gradually progressed politically is the same way she has achieved her tertiary education qualifications. She was Mombasa woman representative before being elected as Likoni MP.

From 1978 to 1985, Mboko Mishi Juma Khamisi attended Mtongwe primary school. She sat her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams at the institution then proceeded to Likoni secondary school for her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education from 1986 to 1989.

Between 1990 and 1991, Mishi was a private candidate (PITMAN) and attained a certificate in Secretarial and Office Management. From 1991 to 1992, she was a private candidate where she attained the Kenya National Exams Council (KNEC) Diploma in Banking Part I.

In 2004, Mishi joined University of Nairobi and exited in 2005 with a Diploma in Public Relations. She went on to join Moi University and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science (Bsc.) Communication and Public Relations.

These academic qualifications have enabled her to work in various offices, manage her private businesses, and join politics.
