Nairobi County Women Representative Esther Passaris said that she cannot date Garissa Township MP Aden Duale because he is very young.
An angry Passaris said that she only goes out with mature men. This is after Duale disrespected NASA leader, Raila Odinga in September 2017.
“Duale is younger than me. I don’t go out with boy toys, I go out with mature men,” said Passaris at the time.
Duale who is also the National Assembly Leader of Majority had asked Passaris while at Parliament buildings to greet him, days after daring Raila to remove the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
In response, Passaris said, “I told him I can’t greet men who disrespect my party leader Raila Odinga. He shouldn’t joke with me, or I will fight him mundu khu mundu.”
Duale had earlier dared Raila to remove the IEBC from office ahead of the elections this is after the Supreme Court nullified the presidential results on grounds that IEBC had flawed the laws governing the exercise.
“Raila kama wewe ni mwanaume kuja utoe IEBC. Ukitoa IEBC tutatoa wale ma commissioner ambayo tunajua ni watu wako. Wamekaa kwa kila commission kuanzia Judicial Service Commission,” said Duale.
Passaris questioned Duale’s age, education level and upbringing saying she doesn’t get why he utters such statements.
“Can someone please tell me how old this man is? What’s his level of education? What’s his upbringing? What does he consume? I don’t get him,” she said.
Duale, however in response said, “To Passaris, am 50 years old, with decent humble Islamic upbringing, went to national schools and known universities, married to a decent wife with five sons. That’s Aden Duale. Am sorry I have no space (sic).”
