World Marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge has for the second time expressed his desire to meet former US President Barack Obama.
Moments after he was crowned the Male Athlete of the Year on Saturday, Kipchoge said that he will be the happiest person in the world if one of these fine days he gets the opportunity to share a moment with Obama.
Kipchoge who made history during the INEOS159 Challenge said that he was overwhelmed with the kind of response he received from the former US President.
He said that he has a lot to share with Obama, adding that meeting him will be one of the best things that can ever happen in his life.
“It was a good response that got me overwhelmed and I hope in future I meet Barack Obama in person. Remember he is the first black American to become the President of the United States and is the best believer of No Human is Limited which I’ll continue to advance,” Kipchoge said as quoted by Citizen Digital.
The marathoner further said that he is grateful that he became the first person to run a marathon in under two hours.
He also said that he cares a lot about humanity and wants to work with leaders including Obama to make the World a better place.
