Six notorious criminals have been nabbed by detectives from the office of the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
The six were arrested on Saturday at Kilimani, Nairobi, over an alleged robbery in Kitengela, Kajiado County.
In a statement, DCI noted that two motor vehicles; a Toyota Prado, and Nissan Navara, master keys, fake number plates, masking tapes and a safe were confiscated.
According to the to the DCI, the suspects have pending cases in court in connection to burglary, house-breaking and stealing in Kilimani
"The six; Stephen Ngiru Kuria, Wilson Mutua Kitheka, Vincent Odhiambo, Elizabeth Akinyi Abuto, Lavender Akinyi Ogilo, and Quinter Adhiambo Ong'ino, have been placed in lawful custody with further investigations ongoing before they are arraigned and charged in court.
"It has further been established that two of the suspects; Elizabeth, and Lavender had warrants of arrest issued for absconding court and jumping bail respectively," DCI posted on Facebook.
