The Kisumu barmaid who is said to have robbed a Maseno University student ignited a war with the student on Monday morning.
The barmaid identified as Jane had tricked the student into inviting her to his rented hostel in Migosi on Sunday night before robbing him a thousand worth properties on the following day when he was away.
Gabby, the victimized student, filed a theft case against his alleged lover that led to the police setting up a manhunt for the lady.
It later emerged that the lady had already vacated her house in Manyatta, where she was supposed to proceed to after the sleepover.
“She had already vacated. She cleared with the landlord two weeks ago. None of the neighbours knows where she is,” the student said.
On Wednesday, the barmaid contacted the student, threatening him to stop the police from looking for her or else he would regret.
According to the text messages exchanged between the two, the lady had taken the items after his ex-lover was unable to repay Shs 10,000 he borrowed her.
“Withdraw the case or you will regret. You are not the first I have dealt with. You have my money and am still coming for more items. You hurt me. I am paying back everything you did to me. Your mummy will know this,” she wrote.
The student either insisted that he won't give in to the antics and the money he received from the lady wasn’t supposed to be repaid.
