A Kisumu couple who have been engaged for five years ended their love affair over an argument on who is the best, between Barcelona forward Lionel Messi and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The neighbors confirmed they heard noise from their house, adding that when they intervened they found the couple in a heated argument on who is the best between Messi and Ronaldo.
The husband is a fan of the Barcelona forward, while the wife is a staunch supporter of the former Real Madrid forward.
According to the neighbors, the argument got heated when the wife noted that Ronaldo was more handsome than his husband.
The lady's comments angered the husband, who retaliated by saying that if his wife was thinking Ronaldo is handsome than him, she should go and date the football star, and let him pay her bills.
"It is a crazy world. How do you end something you build for five years because of people who do not know you. You have to grow up and face the challenges," one of the neighbors lamented.
