The president has been silent on his next move, and has kept mum on among others, whether he will keep his initial promise to endorse his deputy William Ruto as his successor in 2022.

Mokua now says that Uhuru has formed the third wing of Jubilee after the Tanga Tanga and Kieleweke factions, and has kept his cards so close to his chest, hence the confusion.

"There is Jubilee A, B, and then there is Jubilee C which is President Uhuru Kenyatta himself; who is keeping his cards very close to his chest that both Jubilee A and B do not know what he wants to do," he said.

Mokua made the remarks during an interview on KTN's Inside Politics how on Sunday.

He cautioned that the happenings in the ruling party are a major disadvantage to the nation, considering that the leaders have shifted their attention from important national matters.

"The tragedy we have in this country is that all these noises coming from Jubilee A B has got nothing to do with Wanjiku (common mwananchi) or the national debt," he added.

Tanga Tanga, which is said to have links with Deputy President William Ruto has bean involved in bitter exchanges with the Uhuru allied Kieleweke group since 2018.
