And as he has done it almost thrice before, the former Prime Minister who was early last year just a defeated presidential candidate is suddenly at the centrer of demolition.

The victim this time seems to be the ruling Jubilee Party, which he seems to be silently and skilfully killing, without employing any force or noise.

It began with his March 9 truce with Uhuru, a reconciliation that though is said to be an avenue to national unity, has led to anxiety, confusion and fear within the once invincible party.

Then followed their alleged terms which he says includes a referendum, and moments later, a section of the party allied to the president declared war on his deputy William Ruto.

Therefore, the party could break on two grounds, the offensive on Ruto which could result in a division, giving Raila a win after succeeding in killing the party.

The other is the referendum issue which though Uhuru has repeatedly said he supports, the DP and his camp is in opposition.

And as "he is doing it again" chorus sweeps through Central Kenya and Rift Valley, he seems to be indeed doing it, and has now sat back to enjoy the fruits of his one year job, reports the Standard.

Raila has done it again, the way he did it to Ford Kenya in 1994 and the Kenya African National Unity (KANU) in 2002 and has almost taken over as the new DP, always around the President.

Ruto, on the other hand, has been reduced to a delegation host at his Sugoi home.
