Mr Ndolo was one of keynote speakers in IEBC's Voter Education Week in which the commission is keen to reconcile with the past and find best ways of managing polls.

"If we fix the politics of Kenya everything else will fall in place, and Kenya will be one of the best countries. Kazi kwenu, kazi kwetu #IEBCAVEW2019 @BenjiNdolo, Centre for Diaspora Affairs," Ndolo had said in the seminar.

But through her Twitter account, Ms Akombe was quick to fault the move, predictably making reference to Ndolo's controversy on alleged soliciting of sex, claims which surfaced on social media last week.

"Is this the same @BenjiNdolo of last week? How does he end up speaking on behalf of the Diaspora? What about credible representatives from @KDiasporaVote @kenyandiaspora #KenyaCommunityAbroad etc?" tweeted Akombe.

A lady by the Lilian Nyabuto had claimed that Mr Ndolo had been bothering her for sex despite being a married man. He however, dismissed that claims.

Ms Akombe was one of vocal commissioners during her time are IEBC. However, she quit in October 2017, few days to Presidential repeat polls. She cited among others, lack of transparency.
