Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo today (Tuesday, January 29, 2019) held a meeting with Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
The meeting between the two politicians comes at a time when the 2022 succession politics has already gained momentum in the country, with about three years to the next general elections.
Kabogo took to his official Facebook page where he posted photos of him and Joho with the caption “Paid a Courtesy call on Mombasa Governor H.E Hassan Joho. Matters national unity.”
On his part, Joho, who is also the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) deputy party leader revealed that they discussed "matters of national interest in particular nation-building and national unity".
The meeting has sparked a hot debate online, with a section of Kenyans giving their views on what they think the two leaders were discussing. Here are some of the reactions.
