Activist Boniface Mwangi has exposed a hotel he believes stands on grabbed land.
The activist-cum-politician claimed that the owners of CJs hotel bribed officials from the county government of Nairobi in order to ensure the facility is not demolished.
He has now challenged the first-term governor to move into action to reclaim what he believes is riparian land.
He wondered why the hotel is still in operation even after Sonko embarked on bringing down structures lying on public land.
Mwangi took to Twitter and posted the message.
“This restaurant @Cjs_254 bribed the officials at Governor @MikeSonko's city hall and grabbed an entire backstreet lane, Asmah Lane. They even have a guard stationed there. Will Sonko reclaim the lane or he approves the grabbing? When you dine there, you promote corruption #Rudisha,” he wrote on Twitter.

In the meantime, Sonko has maintained that he cannot sit back and watch resources meant for the entire public being taken over by a few individuals.
He has vowed not to tolerate corruption in his government as long as he remains at the helm of power.
The county boss has been unfazed amid frustration from Nairobi tycoons who own property located on riparian land.
