He may be the legislator for Embakasi East but he does not discriminate against people from other constituency.

Last week, a woman from Kasarani Constituency whose structure had been demolished came to see him at his office in the company of other people.

Babu asked her to pray before saying what had brought.

When she started narrating her plight, she broke down in tears, forcing Babu to try to calm her down.

He told her to control herself and stop crying.

"Mama naomba ujaribu kujicontrol. Najua ni uchungu ukibomolewa nyumba na hujui unaenda wapi. Nataka utulie ndio tuone tunapata solution aje. (Lady I want you to control yourself. I know it's painful when your house is demolished and you don't know where to go. I want you to control yourself so that we can see how to solve the issue)," Babu told her.

He then placed a call to the Kasarani MP Mercy Gakuya and gave the woman to speak with her.

She told Gakuya her problem as Babu listened.

Babu advised the woman to write a petition to Parliament adressed to the speaker and promised to help her even with iron sheets.

The moment was captured during a show moderated by renowned journalist Betty Kyalo.
