Still recovering from the shock exit of its top journalists to rivals, the station has been dealt another blow following the resignation of talented Western reporter Namukabo Werungah.

In a post on her Facebook page, Werungah, who joined NTV in 2014, appreciated the Kimathi Street-based media house for giving her opportunity to kick-start her media career.

“When it all started.  Was I even getting four years at the Nation Media Group?  Hii Kampuni imenijenga why lie. Today, I bid NTV goodbye, I will forever be grateful for the opportunity and to the great team that has helped build my career,” posted the USIU-trained Journalist.

Though it remains clear where she is headed to, rumors have it that she could be on her way to Royal Media Services with Citizen TV being her next stop where she may reunite with her former colleagues at the Twin Towers including Linus Kaikai, Nimrod Taabu and Rashid Abdalla.

For NTV, the exit comes at a time the station was on a rebuilding mission that has seen new faces step in even as it strives to regain ground in the increasingly competitive Kenyan media.
