A keen Kenyan on social media noticed the peculiar thing. The project had been meant to be commissioned on Thursday, April 4, 2019.

The second in command took to social media and reiterated his stand on matters of development. He said that the government was keen on delivering its promises to the people.

“Investing in education infrastructure is key for an optimal learning environment, effective instruction of learners and a check on dropout rates. It promotes skills development, proficiency and readies the youth to drive the wheels of the economy,” tweeted the DP.

During the tour, Ruto asked leaders allied to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga Raila Amolo Odinga to give the Jubilee government time to complete its projects. He reminded the allies that it is not the right time to engage in early 2022 campaigns.

He insisted that the Jubilee government is committed to delivering on its promises before President Uhuru Kenyatta completes his second and final term in office.

Ruto also noted that Uhuru is ready to ensure that the lives of the taxpayers are better before he quits and to the opposition not to engage in sideshows at the expense of development.
