After a week of silence, Raila Odinga has indirectly responded to his former ally Rashid Achesa over sacking claims.
In a funeral at Western over the weekend, the sports CS dragged Raila into a serious debate where he claimed plans are underway to have him sacked.
"I want to make it clear to Raila, I am ready to be sacked by him. I am tired with his antics."
So vicious were the claims that even the ODM party scolded the minister over what it termed as 'pedestrian' claim.
And at Orange House, Raila denied knowledge of Cabinet reshuffle adding that he was a stranger to government.
"I have read reports about cabinet reshuffle and I don't know where the media gets these false reports from.
"Equally, I am even told that I can sack yet am not party to government. I don't know where am getting these powers from," he said.
Before joining Jubilee, Achesa was ODM youth leader, a position he held until 2016.
Already, a section of MPs from Western region have threatened to have him sacked over incompetence.
