Speaking on Radio Maisha’s ‘Bunge La Maisha’ Tuesday morning, the nominated lawmaker claimed that most of Mudavadi’s decisions are made for him by some individuals surrounding him.

He termed former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale as one of the advisers who are misleading the former Deputy Prime Minister.

Osotsi blamed Khalawale for, among others, Mudavadi’s 2013 move to part ways with opposition leader Raila Odinga to vie for presidency and the ongoing attempts to merge ANC with the Ford-Kenya party led by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.

‘’Khalwale na wengineo ndio ambao wanamdanya Mudavadi. Walimfanya akaondoka kwa Raila na kuwania urais 2013 na mnajua kilichofuatia. Sasa anamdanganya avunje ANC.

(Khalwale and company fooled him into defeat in his 2013 presidential bid and is now back again and is trying to mislead him into merging ANC and Ford-Kenya),’’ noted Osotsi.

Mudavadi and Wetangula who are considered the biggest political figures in the Western Kenya region have since proposed the merger as one of the best ways to unite the region ahead of the 2022 general polls.

Both have since announced their presidential bids in the same elections.
