Nairobi County Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has advised couple what they should do to make their marriages successful.
In a recent Instagram post, the flamboyant city boss posted a video of a soft Swahili speaking woman who is borrowing money from her husband.
In the video, the woman displays respect, love and perseverance for her husband whom they are talking on the phone.
He went ahead to note that his marriage to Nairobi First Lady Primrose Mbuvi has been successful for 21 years because of having such types of conversations with each other.
"This the reason why my marriage with the 1st lady of Nairobi has been so successful for the last 21 years. However for your woman to give you this kind of treatment you must love her and give her the respect she deserves," he said.
Sonko went ahead to caution men against loving other women more than their wives.
He asked men to balance the love they give to their wives and what they give to their girlfriends.
Though a controversial leader in the political circles, Sonko has maintained a stainless reputation in regard to his marital life.
