On Monday, NPS issued a statement warning bloggers who allegedly shared photos of Kenyans involved in a terror attack just recently in Wajir.

According to the statement, such an act is indecency and inhuman to departed souls who were defending the nation against terrorism adding that sharing of images of terror victims is tantamount to glorifying terror.

"It is also a cold-hearted display of insensitivity to the families of the deceased, the NPS fraternity and the entire Nation of Kenya. This is indeed the lowest we can go and we wish to condemn this act in the strongest terms possible," read the statement in part.

However, NPS assured the country of safety against terror.

"We want to assure the country that the National Police Service is committed to the fight against terror and will always remain to the support that it has continued to receive from the office of the president. We urged all Kenyans to keep supporting us in the fight against terror and all forms of crime."

National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) identified the blogger in question. They asked him to immediately pulled down the photos.
