On Friday, a jovial-looking President Kenyatta lit the internet after an image of him taking a picture of an unidentified person planting a tree surfaced online.
The picture caused a stir online, with many asking about the lucky guy who impressed the President to the extent of having him take the photo by himself.
However, State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena revealed to the Citizen Digital the real identity of the person in Uhuru's photo.
Kanze stated that the individual being captured by the President was none other than one of their cameramen.
“He was taking a photograph of one of our cameraman,” the State House Spokesperson said as quoted by the Citizen Digital
Amid the viral photo, President Kenyatta had grown to become one of the most jovial and adventurous heads of state the country has ever had.
In comparison, not a single moment have the former Presidents Mwai Kibaki and his predecessor Daniel Moi been captured sharing such fun moments with their juniors, a thing that makes the incumbent Uhuru get into the books of history as the most sociable.
Uhuru's trendy picture comes barely a fortnight after netizens took to the internet asking of his whereabouts after he maintained a low public profile for almost two weeks.
