Mulyungi said Juma does not represent interests of the Kamba community.

Addressing the press in Mwingi Town on Sunday, the Wiper MP said the CS is not a Kamba and that President Kenyatta was misled to believe that she is of Kamba origin.

Mulyungi said that Ukambani does not have a representative in President Kenyatta’s cabinet.

“We want to tell the President that we are still waiting for him to appoint a Kamba representative to his cabinet because CS Juma is not our representative,” Mulyungi said.

He said the fact that Juma was born somewhere in Ukambani does not make her a Kamba.

Mulyungi said Kambas have been abandoned by President Kenyatta’s regime.

Over 25 Kamba MPs who had been invited to Juma’s homecoming party at Nub secondary school snubbed the ceremony.

Kamba MPs who were elected on Jubilee Party ticket among them Victor Munyaka (Machakos Town), Nimrod Mbai (Kitui East) and Rachel Nyamai (Kitui South) also snubbed the event.

Juma was named as Foreign Affairs CS after president Kenyatta won the presidential re-election.

She previously served as Foreign affairs Principal Secretary (PS) before the promotion.
