As they say, politics is a game and if it has strikers then without any fear of contradiction Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi is the perfect one.
In 2015 Maangi who was also The Kisii County ODM Organizing Secretary General ditched ODM to Join Jubilee where he formed Obomo Bw'omogusii whose motive was to sell Jubilee party in Gusii Region.
Maangi announced his move to Join Jubilee three months after he risked being kicked out of the party over allegations that he was colluding with Jubilee to cripple the opposition in Kisii County.
He came into office in 2013 as the Deputy Governor through ODM by backing up the current Kisii Governor James Ongwae as his running mate which they successfully won.
Two years later Maangi then risked his job and declared his vision of contesting for Kisii County Gubernatorial seat countering his boss James Ongwae a move that could divorce his vows of supporting Ongwae for two terms.
In may 2017 only three months to the general election after he noticed the wave was not going well with him, Maangi made an official public announcement in front of his boss James Ongwae where he ditched Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Part back to ODM again, a wise move that secured him a job as the deputy County Boss for a second term after 2017 Elections.
After analysis and noticing their marriage with Ongwae is ending come 2022, Maangi is again back to Jubilee in 2018 where he has been hosting the Deputy President William Ruto.
This has made Maangi to be seen as a Politician who does not have a concrete stand, a person who can be compromised within just a night.
What could he be targeting this time round?
