Speaking to the press from Mombasa, Magoha said that the ministry will ensure that supervisors take the examinations to the sick as well as those who are expectant.

He said they are not ready to take chances at the expense of the bright future of Kenyan students.

“We shall still take the exam to those in hospital so that those who are sick and/or pregnant can still do the exam,” he Magoha was quoted by Citizen TV.

The CS also urged parents not to seek for ways to help their children pass the examination. He noted that cheating is a great offence and action will be taken against those found doing the same.

“Please let the children do their exams in peace. Let no one tell you that they can help your child to pass the exams,” he said.

He further warned center managers against attempting to block students from sitting for the examinations because of one reason or another.

"I want to take this opportunity to warn very few centre managers, who may attempt to block children from taking examinations for whatever reasons. You cannot stop a child to sit for an exam because they failed to pay Sh300," Magoha said as quoted by the Star.
