Hours after President Uhuru Kenyatta assented controversial Finance Bill into law, a section of Gusii residents wants MPs who supported the bill to be recalled.
From Friday, Uhuru's proposal will be effected even as protests intensified across the country.
Among those on spot include Jimmy Angwenyi (Kitutu Chache North), Ezekiel Machogu (Nyaribari Masaba), Richard Tong'i (Nyaribari Chache) and Innocent Obiri of Bobasi.
Others are Ben Momanyi of Borabu, Prof Zedoc Ogutu and Samuel Arama. Some others who claimed to be opposing the Bill but allegedly remained mum are Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango) and Shadrack Mose (Kitutu Masaba).
"They should be recalled. We are tired with pretenders in the name of MPs," said Marube Maina, ODM youth leader.
Janet Kumenda added: "They abandoned us at the time of need. This is the appropriate time to send them home."
Richard Onyonka, Simba Arati and Vincent Kemosi were credited for giving stiff opposition in parliament over the bill.
