A Jubilee nominated senator, Millicent Omanga, argued that DP Ruto' close friends should be blamed if he loses the country's top seat in 2022.

"It is high time Ruto should know the people he should work with because those close to him are interested in achieving hidden goals but, not popularizing him. Ruto should blame his close allies if he loses Presidency in 2022," she stated.

The vocal senator said DP Ruto stands a better position to succeed his boss but, if he continues condoning incompetent close allies he will lose terribly.

Omanga while expressing her happiness with handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga challenged politicians to embrace the handshake.

"Leaders whether elected or not should take the handshake serious. DP Ruto allies against the handshake should either accept it or make Ruto to lose Presidency in 2022," she added.

According to the senator, Ruto is more popular among Kenyans unlike his opponents given that he has traversed the country.
